I think I'll regret this: [Apr. 14th, 2004|06:28 pm]

[current paranoia |AveQ- Everyone's a Little Bit Rascist]

It's one of those viral livejournal things...

I want everyone who reads this to ask me three questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want, and I will give you an honest answer.  Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything

More stupid captions [Apr. 13th, 2004|09:02 pm]
I spent all day writing today and I've short circuited my brain.  Need rest.  The musical is taking shape with rapid speed.  It is now centred on a production of Romeo & Juliet- the Happy Version.  It works better

Here's a caption:Collapse )

Dumb Captions Number Three [Apr. 12th, 2004|03:37 pm]
[current mental instability |diffident]
[current paranoia |needs a new cd. maybe some AveQ?]

If anyone feels inclined to plead with me to stop doing this, or even if someone wants to raise the call for more bitching at dead people...  the comments section is open.  I'm feeling too unwell to concentrate on writing so this is good ol' sedentary time-wasting

Do you wanna look?Collapse )

Tarot Cards
The Queen of Punk

Original Sex boutique assistant and style guru. Jordan became one of the most outrageous and sussed Punkettes on the London Scene. Originating from a small coastal village she would travel on commuter filled trains from her South east Coast base to London in some of Vivienne Westwood's most shocking creations. She became a willing human guinea pig for Vivienne's latest punk fashion designs and would wear everything and anything on the changing face of the Kings Road punk scene. Gained early fame at an embryonic Pistols gig by being stripped by Johnny Rotten on stage. She became manager of Adam & The Ants in their hardcore punk era 1977 and got up on stage to sing the Warholian 'Lou'. In 1978 she gained film stardom in Derek Jarman's fantasy punk noir 'Jubilee' singing a buxom 'Rule Britannia'. She faded out of focus in the early 80's claiming punk wasn't a challenge anymore and returned to her roots on the south coast. Now works as a veterinary nurse and breeds Burmese cats.
Divinatory Meanings: This ia the card of absolutely cutting-edge nowness.  The Presence of Jordan- the Queen of Punk suggests a strong willed and creative persion with a unique vision.   The card is sometimes associated with brief but intense engagements with celebrity.   Jordan- the Queen of Punk often appears as a direct sign that it is time to get in touch with your wildside and buy some rubber panties. If this card appears in a 'future' position of a spread a sudden change in life direction is approaching. This change may involve cats or pussy.
Reversed: You are a style catastrophe- do not dare go out in public in that! You aren't half as punk as you think you are. It is time to reconsider the way that you apply your makeup.
Card Traits: The appearance of Jordan- Queen of Punk always indicates a presence of potentially volatile situations. Traditionally this is the card of calculated violence in the pursuit of fame.   The card is considered an omen of good luck for all who care for cats.

I love old urban streetscape photos- this one I thought utterly delightful.

Fantasy Itinerary- please comment! [Mar. 29th, 2004|08:42 pm]
I just hacked this out based on my limited understanding of how these round the diddly world tickets work.  I've got more places to visit listed for Europe than I have stop-overs on the ticket I'm looking at but I think that a lot of it could be done by train and / or added on at relatively low cost.  I'm not going to fly from Rotterdam to Amsterdam, for example.  We walk that kind of distance down here!

I like taking trains. One sees more.

Theres a bit of coding going on here to keep me focussed.  Destinations marked with five stars [*****] are the absolute must stops.  Three stars [***] means would be a shame to miss it but I can be flexible about it.  One star [*] means that if the place is in my path, not to expensive, the circumstances right etc, I might add it to the mix.

If I've marked things with SV it means I hope for a substantial period in that place.  Enough time to semi live there, get to know some locals, sample the local bois...

Anything marked with a T is just for doing the basic tourist thing.

T+ sits in the middle.  More than just a race through but not somewhere to linger for 2 months.

ON destinations are important and very purpose specific.  Likely to be very brief and confined to doing what it is I have my mind set on.

I could do Europe more thoroughly but I have to decide between that or New York...  New York wins!

The order isn't airport logical but it's pretty much within the guidelines for travel.  An agent can work all that out...
