I just hacked this out based on my limited understanding of how these round the diddly world tickets work. I've got more places to visit listed for Europe than I have stop-overs on the ticket I'm looking at but I think that a lot of it could be done by train and / or added on at relatively low cost. I'm not going to fly from Rotterdam to Amsterdam, for example. We walk that kind of distance down here!|
I like taking trains. One sees more.
Theres a bit of coding going on here to keep me focussed. Destinations marked with five stars [*****] are the absolute must stops. Three stars [***] means would be a shame to miss it but I can be flexible about it. One star [*] means that if the place is in my path, not to expensive, the circumstances right etc, I might add it to the mix.
If I've marked things with SV it means I hope for a substantial period in that place. Enough time to semi live there, get to know some locals, sample the local bois...
Anything marked with a T is just for doing the basic tourist thing.
T+ sits in the middle. More than just a race through but not somewhere to linger for 2 months.
ON destinations are important and very purpose specific. Likely to be very brief and confined to doing what it is I have my mind set on.
I could do Europe more thoroughly but I have to decide between that or New York... New York wins!
The order isn't airport logical but it's pretty much within the guidelines for travel. An agent can work all that out...
